Product Description

Jump Stopis a no jump dog harness that uses the same body harness as Pull Stop™ and is the first product of its kind that links the front legs of your pet to its hind legs to control movement. The harness is adjustable to allow you to define the level of effectiveness to control your pet's excessive jumping or running and still allow your pet freedom to move normally. Jump Stop™ is designed to stop dog jumping on people or out of the yard without excessive restriction, allowing you the owner to determine what level of control is required. Other harnesses are a one-size-fits-all, which can't accommodate most pet shapes and aren't fully effective against jumping.

Product Features:

  • Snap buckles on both leg straps and on the girth strap make it easy and quick to get the harness on and off your pet
  • A complimentary color in the chest strap makes it easier to orient the harness for quick placement on your pet
  • Metal strap adjusters on every strap allow you to adjust the harness to the perfect fit on your pet
  • Elastic girth strap ensures a snug yet comfortable fit
  • An elastic rear back strap ensures thst the hind leg straps don't slip off while your pet sits or lays down
  • High density heavyweight nylon webbing and X-box stitching ensure a long lasting product

If you are in between sizes in either Girth (G) or Length (LL), go with the tighter size. This will ensure that there will be enough tension to allow Jump Stop to work as designed.

  1. Worth the investment! Helpful for small dogs! 4 Star Review

Posted by on 21st Jan 2015

I bought this for my small schnauzer mix who suffered a slipped disc. She was rehabilitated from paralysis to about 80% what she use to be. It's vital I keep her from jumping and re injuring herself, another blow would mean certain paralysis for life. I bought her the no jump harness, which has given her so much freedom to wobble around the house without me worrying she will jump on the furniture. Her new found freedom has boosted her morale and given my pup a new normal! The only problem I have is keeping the harness from slipping below her front elbows. Thankfully it's easy to put them back in, just a hassle. I have them as tight as they will adjust, probably could have used a smaller girth size. I did measure her before I ordered, maybe consider ordering smaller since you can loosen? Nevertheless, I'm thankful a product like this exists!

  2. not invinsible 3 Star Review

My dog can remove entire apparatus in matter of minutes.

  3. Excellent restraint with some modification. 5 Star Review

Posted by on 25th Dec 2013

After reading some reviews I was not certain that this restraint would work, but ordered it out of desperation after our 80 lb. boxer mix jumped our new 5' fence. It is a little complicated at first, but once you figure it out it makes perfect sense. Our dog didn't seem to mind it at all, and it does restrict his ability to jump. The only problem we had was that the piece that fits over the dog's back tended to slip off his rump. (His tail has been bobbed, - this may not happen with dog that has a tail). So, we took the elastic that was meant to go under the chest and looped it through the back strap instead of taking it under the chest. This prevented the back strap from slipping back over the rear end, and seemed to make the whole harness stay in place better. Our dog still has adequate freedom of movement, but is not able to jump high enough to clear the fence. He has made no attempt to chew the straps, and honestly doesn't seem to be bothered in the least by the harness.

  4. Wow, this is amazing! 5 Star Review

Posted by on 23rd Jun 2013

I love the jumpstop harness! Its been amazing!

Pierre is a year old standard poodle, and though he only weighs 50 lbs. it was still an issue having him jump up on you, he's 4'6" on his hind legs. No matter how much I worked with him, corrected him, tried to trick him with treats, he'd still do it.

Even to guests! I had finally had it, and was forced with the descion to maybe rehome him. {My mother has a lot of back and knee problems, and having him jump on her, was causing unneccasary pain.} So I did some research on recommended things and found this website, figured, if anything, at least I tryed.

I was amazed! The first day, he was off his tie out and walking, not running around the house, and after he tryed to jump up a few times and realized he couldn't, he completely gave up on it, the change is a miracle! I get to keep him, and he gets to enjoy lounging on the couch or being pet without being yelled at to stop jumping up. He's a lot calmer now as well, plays gentler, its completely changed how he acts!

I can't thank you guys enough for making this amazing harness!

  5. Jump Stop is exactly what we needed 5 Star Review

Posted by on 19th Jun 2013

Our Standard Poodle, Chanel, after being with us for 2 years, realized she could easily jump over the 4 foot fence around our half acre backyard. Increasing the height of the fence would be very expensive so we decided to try jumpstop. It works very well. She can now still wander around the yard hunting for critters, but she can no longer jump the fence. After carefully following the instructions the first time, we are able to quickly and easily put on the harness. Chanel seems to have adjusted well and still has some freedom and so do we!

  6. Wrong fit 4 Star Review

Posted by on 26th Jan 2013

I believe I did not get the right size for my dogs I thought I ordered them small enough however my dogs are still climbing over the fence. I probably should have ordered and S2 in length over all I think that if the fit was right that the harnesses would work

  7. my bad pug 4 Star Review

Posted by on 24th Oct 2012

I have a pug and I need him to stop jumping I sure do not need another vet bill well it does work except the staps that go around the front paws they want to slip down and it is adjusted as short as it can get also the back staps that go around the back legs well he figured out how to get them off he chewed one of them up over all it does work but only if I can keep it on him I adjust it tight short no matter how i adjust it he gets out of it when he is in it he cannot jump just the trick of keeping it on him.
